The contents of this filter include:

Activated carbon and silver impregnated activated carbon

These layers remove odors, tastes, chlorine, heavy metals, detergents, drug and hormone residues, lead, carcinogens, radioactive substances and chemicals, among others. The silver has anti-bacterial action to reduce bacterial buildup in the filter.

Zeolite

Removes organic hydrocarbons, toxic cations (such as iron, manganese, methane, silver, mercury, nickel, arsenic, etc.), radioactive isotopes of strontium and cadmium.

Silica sand

Softens the water by filtering the acidic components out of the water. This makes the water softer and gives it a pH value of about 7.5

Duration of use

Replace this filter every six months
