Aqualine Neos - Ceramic filter

This ceramic filter is the first filtration step placed in the upper tank of the water filtration system. It is suitable for Neos only.

Made of high-pressure compressed and baked diatomaceous earth, it forms a high-density micro-ceramic filter with a filtration fineness of 0.2 µm (0.0002 mm). This filter stops parasites, bacteria and other germs, among other things.

Life
The ceramic filter should be replaced annually. If you use the ceramic filter with rainwater or well water, you might need to replace it more often. It is then advisable to replace it when the flow of water decreases.

Advice:
To extend the life of this filter, it is advisable to clean it (once or twice at most) with clean water and a new double-sided sponge used on the rough side. Do not push too hard because the thickness of the filter wall (1 cm) is essential for the proper functioning of your water filter. So be careful when handling it, especially when filtering non-potable water from a well or water tank.

Installation of the ceramic filter:

Place the ceramic filter in the bottom of the upper tank, making sure to place the seal on the outside of the tank before inserting the butterfly. Tighten the nut without forcing.

MAINTENANCE:

• When filtering water from a well, spring or tank, periodically flush the outside of the filter so that it does not become clogged with sediment.
• When this refill is used to filter hard water from a distribution network, it is advisable to occasionally rub the ceramic with water using the coarsest side of a dish sponge.
• Never use detergent or acid. Especially do not use vinegar which could destroy or alter the pore size of this fine ceramic.
• Suitable for Neos.
