The housing of this shower filter is made of stainless steel and comes standard with one 15-layer filter. This filter should be replaced every six months. You can easily change the filter yourself.
When ordering, you can also choose to order the shower filter together with an additional replacement filter. You will then have filters for 1 year.
The replacement filters always come in a set of 2 to avoid additional shipping costs.
The 15-layer filter contains various filter materials including activated carbon and KDF
- removes chlorine, bad odors, heavy metals, pesticides, organic pollutants, chemicals and sediment from water filtered out, among other things.
- minerals are added through the ceramic balls.
This shower filter is suitable for a standard shower valve fitted with a loose shower hose.
Installation:
- unscrew the shower hose from the faucet (it can sometimes get a little stuck due to scale build-up)
- turn the shower filter on the shower faucet
- screw the shower hose onto the underside of the shower filter
Preferably do not use tools to attach the shower filter so as not to damage the housing.
Whirlator® Vitalizer
By pairing your shower filter with a shower Whirlator® vitalizer DAC-120, you get the ideal combination. The filter ensures that polluting particles are filtered out of the water. The vitalizer creates a vortex (based on the natural science principles of Viktor Schauberger) which vitalizes the water. The growth of biofilm in the shower hose is greatly reduced by the swirl.
