Partner URLs
A partner reference link is the URL you can use to promote your website and products. Your partner ID or username is attached to the URL so that a visitor or customer visits your website. If the customer successfully completes a purchase (i.e. a sale, then a referral will be generated and you will qualify for the agreed-upon commission.
Below are all the standard variations of a referral URL you can use to promote products.
Example: if your WordPress username is "john," and your partner ID is 1, you can use one of the following URLs:
- site.com/ref/1
- site.com/ref/john
- site.com/page/ref/1
- site.com/page/ref/john
- site.com/?ref=1
- site.com/page?ref=1
- site.com/?ref=john
How do I generate a partner reference link URL?
There are three ways affiliate referral URLs can be generated:
- The affiliate can add their unique affiliate ID or WordPress username to the end of each URL or product page on your website. For example: https://aqua-vitae.be/product-1/?ref=123. Similar to the examples under "Partner URL"
- The affiliate can generate its own referral link from the Affiliate Area by pasting the page URL of any page on your site into the Page URL field and clicking the Generate URL button.
- Or URLs can be generated for you by AQV.
Ads tab
AQV can place ads and actions under this tab, whose link you can place in your website. This way, you can very easily place the advertisement without having to create a complete page for it yourself.
Direct link tab
In this tab, you can specify your domain(s), which AQV can then approve to use without a specific referal link.
If your domain is approved by AQV, a link from your known domain will also be recognized as a referral. As a result, a visit or sale will also be registered and count towards your commission.
